3D printing doesn't usually rank very high when it comes environmentally friendly businesses. At Cekay 3D, I'm hoping to overcome this.

I'm saving every scrap of plastic waste that my prints generate, waiting for the day that I'm able to develop a TPU recycling machine. That way I can:

1. Prototype new products using 100% recycled filament
2. Offer discounted products made of 100% recycled filament to promote green 3D printing

Existing filament recycling methods are only suitable for solid plastics like PLA, so I'm hoping to advance the field and share my knowledge to help others recycle their flexible filaments.

 

I do not use multi-material systems like Bambu's AMS for my prints. All multi-color products are printed separately and assembled by hand.
